Joint Stock Company "Extra-K" SA, which specializes on production and assembly of metal structures, production plant and equipment, pipelines and road signs, started its operation in 1994 based on the Chisinau Assembly Works Administration "Moldprodmontaj" set up as early as July 5, 1958. The production shops constructed on the area of 3 hectares make it possible to manufacture up to 4000 tons of metal structures, 800-900 tons of pipe blanks and above 100 tons of the non-standardised or large-sized plant and equipment annually. The company's specialists have installed and mounted palnt and equipment practically at every sugar mill in Moldova, several production lines at the Moldovan metallurgic plant in Ribnita, most of the plant and equipment at many wineries, including the Cricova sparkling wines producers and the sparkling wines producers in Chisinau, perfume and cosmetics factory "Viorica", joint venture "Vitanta-Intravest", facilities supplying drinking water to the cities of Chisinau, Balti, towns of Briceni, Falesti, and some other.
